Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant to help guests find fashion and accessories with a welcoming, energetic approach. You will keep the sales floor vibrant, assist with fitting rooms, and support quick, accurate service through strong product knowledge.

You’ll work with a dynamic team to manage stock, pricing, and merchandising while upholding safety and ethical standards. Training is provided to develop your retail skills and career growth.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist the guest as needed.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and to solve guest needs.
• Sort truck freight and push freight to the salesfloor, locating merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute and maintain backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
