Job summary

Target in New York is seeking a Style Consultant to join our busy store team. You will greet guests, assist with clothing selections, and keep the floor stocked, priced, and visually engaging.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours, including nights and weekends, using visual merchandising standards to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.

This role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, safety, and the ability to adapt to changing promotions and seasons.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.

• Resolve guest questions quickly
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards and promotional signing.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and use to solve guest needs.
• Sort freight to the salesfloor and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Remerchandise presentations as they sell through using best practices to deliver an inspiring shopping experience for our guest.
• Support price change processes by executing clearance merchandising best practices, including signing execution.
• Maintain and use the fitting rooms as a welcoming space for guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting rooms to the salesfloor.
• Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
