Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant to help guests find style, stock the sales floor, and maintain inviting fitting rooms. You will welcome guests, execute visual standards, and stay knowledgeable about assortment and brand offerings to assist shoppers.

You should be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays, enjoy teamwork, and communicate clearly using store devices. The role includes physical duties like lifting merchandise, standing for long periods, and delivering a high-quality guest

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards and signing.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales and inventory ownership and to assist guests.
• Sort truck freight and push freight to the salesfloor.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by prioritizing fills and replenishment.
• Remerchandise presentations to deliver an inspiring shopping experience for guests.
• Support price changes and signing for promotions and clearance.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise to the salesfloor as needed.
• Demonstrate a culture of safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner and report hazards.
