Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant to assist guests on the sales floor with fashion guidance and product discovery. You will help keep the floor stocked, set up visual merchandising, and ensure accurate pricing and signage to create an inviting shopping experience.

The role involves physical tasks, a fast-paced environment, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. A guest-first attitude and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards, signage, and staying knowledgable on assortment and brand offerings to assist the guest.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales and inventory ownership to support guest needs.
• Set and price the floor according to guest emphasis and brand guidelines.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by prioritizing fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes and signing execution.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise to the salesfloor throughout the day.
