Job summary

Target in California is seeking a Style Consultant to help guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, delivering strong guest experiences and compelling visual merchandising. You will keep the floor stocked with the right products, ensure accurate pricing and signing, and uphold store standards across operations.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Capable of remaining composed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards and signing.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales and inventory ownership.
• Sort truck freight and locate merchandise on the salesfloor and in backroom.
• Set visual presentations to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by prioritizing fills.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by ensuring merchandise moves between fitting room and salesfloor.
• Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and offering assistance.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
