Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a professional sales associate in Women's Apparel to help customers build wardrobes from everyday pieces to special occasions. You will listen to customer needs, offer styling suggestions, and grow expertise in trends to drive loyalty and sales.

You will stay knowledgeable about products, maintain a customer-ready department, and collaborate with teammates, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Nordstrom's 5-Point Selling Standard in every customer interaction: Say Hello, Small Talk, Be Helpful & Sell, Fashion Authority, Follow-up.
• Build and grow a personal customer base through in-store interactions, outreach, and digital tools
• Offer honest, confident style and fit feedback that earns trust and drives loyalty
• Set and achieve personal sales goals, and stay accountable to results
• Keep the department customer-ready, including stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, merchandise recovery, and participate in bi-annual inventory count
• Stay current on product knowledge and trends to serve as a trusted style resource
• Show up for your team every shift, communicate openly, contribute to a positive team environment, and pitch in to help the department stay productive
• Able to commit to a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods
• Follow Up - Build lasting relationships to drive predictable business by using the 2-2-2 Method (follow up 2 days, 2 weeks, and 2 months after a purchase), Nordy Club enrollment, and Personal Book (your tool for tracking customers so outreach feels personal)
