Job summary

AstraZeneca plc in Cambridge, MA seeks a Study Physician to lead a first-of-its-kind CAR-T cell therapy study for multiple sclerosis, serving as the medical authority for a global program and shaping how novel immune therapies are delivered and assessed.

Based at our Kendall Square site, you will collaborate with clinical scientists and cross-functional experts to advance patient safety and data-driven progress.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent with neurology board certification and MS experience.
• Experience designing or delivering clinical studies.
• Knowledge of MS trial methodology, endpoints and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical design, delivery and interpretation of a multi-cohort MS CAR-T study in accordance with GCP.
• Monitor patient safety across global sites from eligibility to long-term follow-up.
• Assess adverse events and guide dose-escalation decisions within delegated authority.
• Review data for safety, efficacy, biomarkers and decisions to adapt the study.
