Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Global Clinical Program Lead to serve as the clinical authority for two development programs in neuroimmunology. Based in Cambridge, MA, you will own benefit/risk and clinical strategy, steer study design, and represent programs with regulators and investigators.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive safety and regulatory success, and shape governance storytelling to accelerate evidence generation for patients with immune-mediated neurological disease.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Postgraduate training and board certification in neurology or related immune-mediated disease.
• 5+ years in clinical drug development with leadership of programs or major studies.
• Hands-on leadership in design, delivery and interpretation of industry-sponsored trials.
• Experience with health- authority interactions and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive clinical and scientific strategy across two programs.
• Lead endpoint strategy, population definition and trial design.
• Oversee program safety strategy and clinical monitoring activities.
• Lead regulatory submissions content and health authority interactions.
• Present updates to governance and portfolio committees with data-driven narratives.
• Build external partnerships with investigators, sites, CROs and patient groups.
• Provide matrix leadership to study physicians and clinical scientists.
• Track advances in neuroimmunology and immune-reset modalities for plan evolution.
• Collaborate with enterprise partners to accelerate delivery.
