Job summary

TelevisaUnivision in Miami seeks a Utility to support Production Operations. The role assists Camera Operators and the Floor Manager with cables, sets, props, and general studio tasks on the studio floor.

You will handle microphones/IFB, organize and maintain cables, and help ensure smooth operations for a 24x7 production environment with on-call requirements, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Television Production or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience with live studio broadcast.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish.
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs of equipment and cables.
• Comfortable with all aspects of production and high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Pull cables for the Camera Operators during shows.
• Organize and coil cables after each production.
• Clean and maintain cables.
• Assist the Floor Manager with cables, sets, props and studio traffic.
• Place microphones, IFB, and related equipment on talent and ensure proper operation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
