Job summary

FOX Television Stations in New York is seeking a Video Production & Studio Manager to oversee day-to-day studio operations, support on-site and remote productions, and manage technical production workflows from our New York office.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with professional broadcast gear, TriCaster, and vMix, plus a strong troubleshooting mindset and knowledge of audio/video/IP networking. Flexibility for nontraditional hours is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in live streaming, broadcast, or digital production environments
• 4+ years as Technical Director, Technical Manager, or similar
• Experience operating professional broadcast gear (cameras, lighting, switchers, audio consoles)
• Proficient with vMix and TriCaster switchers
• Strong troubleshooting and clear technical communication
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
• Understanding of audio/video/IP networking and signal flow

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operation, maintenance, and readiness of production studios
• Configure and maintain cameras, microphones, lighting, sets, displays, switchers, recording systems, and transmission paths
• Support onsite and remote productions with technical equipment and roles
• Assist with camera shading, audio levels, intercom programming, and remote guest feeds
• Operate live productions using TriCaster and vMix
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues
• Coordinate equipment requests and technical support for creators and internal teams
• Maintain documentation for systems, workflows, procedures, and equipment
• Support media operations including capture, management, and delivery workflows
• Coordinate hardware/software updates to ensure system reliability
• Travel as needed to support productions
