Job summary

SLT (Strengthen - Lengthen - Tone) is seeking a Studio Manager to join our Rockville, MD operations team. This role drives performance and operations of the studio, focuses on brand awareness, optimizing class schedules, leading instructors on schedule, and increasing client frequency through engagement and retention.

The ideal candidate combines fitness passion with strong leadership, client focus, and the ability to build a community.

Qualifications

• Management experience in fitness, wellness or retail preferred.
• Previous group fitness experience preferred.
• Self-starter with strong managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and react quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Critical thinking skills are a must.
• Ability to work flexible, non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain class quota of up to 13 classes per week, with flexibility to exceed.
• Optimize schedules and instructor allocation to maximize attendance.
• Drive new client conversion and nurture client pipelines through targeted outreach.
• Lead studio operations: recruit, onboard, and manage front desk staff; coordinate with marketing and sales.
• Ensure the studio is well-maintained; address facilities issues promptly.
• Deliver exceptional client service and drive retention through personalized follow-ups.
