Job description

Includes Studio Manager (Castle Rock & Greenwood Village) role description, drafted for compliance with Colorado employment law (CADA, EPEWA, HFWPA, FAMLI, POWR Act).

Fierce45 is hiring a full-time Studio Manager to lead our Castle Rock and Greenwood Village studios. As Studio Manager, you own the success of both studios: their community, their coaching team, their client experience, and their bottom line. You will split your time between the two locations, growing community and membership, coaching classes, developing coaches, and making sure every client who walks through either door gets a best-in-class Fierce experience in a 45-minute, full-body, high-intensity Pilates class that is Hard. Every. Time.

As a Fierce Studio Manager, you will lead by example. You will uplift and develop your team of coaches and support staff, build authentic connections with clients and with the Castle Rock and Greenwood Village communities, and use data (studio utilization, new clients, retention, and revenue) to make smart decisions. You will bring a solution-oriented mindset to every challenge and execute within company standards in any situation.

We also encourage you to bring your personality to your leadership, be yourself, and have fun with it! Ultimately, our community is so successful because each person feels comfortable walking into the studio as exactly who they are. Your role as the face of Fierce45 in two communities is to recognize that every class, every coach conversation, and every client interaction is an opportunity to turn someone’s day around.

  • Lead and manage the Castle Rock and Greenwood Village studios, with responsibility for the overall success of each studio and for managing its profit and loss (P&L) on operating costs, including but not limited to payroll, retail, and class sales.

  • Coach a minimum of 12 classes per pay period across the two studios, following the standardized class format and FierceMovement® methodology.

  • Be present in the studios 25–30 hours per week, divided between Castle Rock and Greenwood Village based on business needs, with the remaining 10–15 hours spent on community outreach, partnerships, and/or meetings outside the studio.

  • Drive new student conversion and member retention while maintaining and growing studio membership and monthly revenue at both locations.

  • Use your in-studio time to build community in order to attract potential new clients, retain current clients, and increase membership.

  • Establish neighborhood partnerships in Castle Rock, Greenwood Village, and surrounding communities to grow the Fierce community.

  • Continually and proactively address each studio’s needs by identifying your team’s strengths and areas of opportunity.

  • Uplift and elevate coaches to foster class attendance and coach retention.

  • Oversee the onboarding, training, and development of all new support staff and part-time hires.

  • Perform Coach reviews (including taking a variety of classes) and provide constructive feedback to Coaches.

  • Optimize class schedules for both studios.

  • Attend meetings with the VP of Sales and Marketing to review key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns and posts, document trends, and compare results to studio utilization, new clients, client retention, and company revenue.

  • Manage studio-specific client issues and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a best-in-class client experience.

  • Confidently manage conflict in high-pressure situations and demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Be an expert on studio-specific and company-wide operational procedures and policies, including Fierce45’s scheduling and POS system, MarianaTek.

  • Oversee retail merchandising, display tidiness, and inventory back-stock of supplies.

  • Ensure both studios are presentable and safe for clients and that opening and closing procedures are followed.

  • Uphold professionalism and Fierce45’s standards and Core Values of Community, Positivity, and Challenge both in and out of the studio.

  • Report to the Senior Manager of Studio Operations.

required skills & abilities:

  • Ability to reliably report to either the Castle Rock or Greenwood Village studio within approximately 20 minutes for scheduled shifts, opening and closing coverage, coach call-outs, and urgent on-site needs (for example, staffing, safety, or equipment issues).

  • Ability to travel regularly between the Castle Rock and Greenwood Village studios, sometimes within the same day.

  • Availability to work and coach a combination of early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (including holiday coverage per the Studio Manager holiday sign-up).

  • Ability to cover Coach sub requests as needed.

  • Ability to demonstrate the FierceMovement® methodology and lead a 45-minute high-intensity class, or to successfully complete Fierce45 coach training.

  • Prior studio, fitness, retail, or hospitality management experience is preferred, including leading a team and managing to revenue and budget goals.

  • Comfort working with scheduling/POS software (MarianaTek preferred) and reviewing KPIs and basic financial reports.

what to bring:

  • A positive, inspiring, and upbeat energy that motivates clients and coaches alike.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, and a genuine passion for developing people.

  • Organization and the ability to balance priorities across two studios.

  • Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to Fierce45, our team, and our clients.

  • A collaborative, solution-oriented outlook and the drive to be a team player.

  • This is a full-time (40 hours per week), exempt, salaried position.

  • Salary: Starting at $57,784 per year, commensurate with experience and skill level.

  • Additional compensation for classes coached or subbed beyond the 12-class quota per pay period, paid at per class rate.

  • Private and group sessions completed in excess of class quota are paid as separate events at the following rates: Single $60, Duet $90, Trio $100, Full Buy-out $120.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (Kaiser health insurance is available to W2 employees working 30+ hours per week in Colorado) and a 401(k) retirement account.

  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO), subject to management approval, which may be used for illness, personal business, or vacation. Paid sick leave is provided in accordance with the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.

  • Free unlimited Fierce45 membership.

  • Friends & Family Membership discounts (up to 8 people).

  • Retail discount on Fierce-branded items.

  • Eligibility for Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI), with employee/employer premiums shared per statute
