Job summary

Kidcreate Studio-Eden Prairie is seeking a Studio Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and lead a team of 10-25 part-time employees. You will mentor staff, coordinate classes and parties for children aged 18 months to 12 years, and ensure high-quality customer service.

The role involves hiring, training, scheduling, and occasional class oversight within a fast-growing, locally owned studio network. We value enthusiasm, reliability, creativity, and a love for art education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and facility operations.
• Train, mentor, and advise studio employees to ensure optimal operations.
• Lead classes and parties for kids while focusing on art education and safety.
• Hire, train, schedule, and discipline staff as needed.
• Serve as liaison between staff and customers, providing high-quality service.
• Support sales and marketing activities and manage supply inventory.

Here’s the lowdown:

• You will need to be available full-time.

• Studio Managers play a leadership role when the Studio Owner is not present.
• Studio Managers act as liaisons between staff and customers, providing high-quality customer service.

• In addition, the Studio Manager does, on occasion, oversee classes and parties for kids ages 18 months-12 years while focusing on art education and providing a safe, fun, and educational experience.
• Studio Managers oversee a staff of between 10-25 part-time employees and play an important role in hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining staff members.
• Sales and Marketing
• Skateboards, bikes, and rollerskates are fun, but reliable transportation is a must.
