Kidcreate Studio Bethesda is seeking an enthusiastic, people-loving Part-Time Studio Manager to help lead our growing studio and deliver fun, hands‑on art and science experiences for kids aged 18 months through 12 years.

The role involves day‑to‑day operations, staff mentorship, customer service, classroom supervision, and occasional class or party oversight, with flexible hours and potential to move to full‑time in 2027.

Responsibilities

• Studio Managers play a leadership role when the Studio Owner is not present.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including quality control and facility operations, and train, mentor, and advise studio employees to ensure optimal operations.
• Oversee classes and parties for kids ages 18 months‑12 years while focusing on art education and providing a safe, fun, and educational experience.
• Staff hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining staff members.
• Assist with sales and marketing activities.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Studio Managers act as liaisons between staff and customers, providing high‑quality customer service.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including quality control and facility operations, and train, mentor, and advise studio employees to ensure optimal operations.
• In addition, the Studio Manager does, on occasion, oversee classes and parties for kids ages 18 months‑12 years while focusing on art education and providing a safe, fun, and educational experience.
• Studio Managers oversee a staff of part‑time employees and play an important role in hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining staff members.
• Assist with sales and marketing activities.
• Reliable transportation is required; while skateboards, bikes, and rollerskates are fun, reliable transportation is a must.
• Maintain supply inventory.
• Invoicing.
• Foster teamwork.
