Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Studio Leader to join the Multifamily Practice in Atlanta. This role leads design phases, coordinates with clients and consultants, and drives project delivery from design through construction administration while solving complex technical challenges.

The Studio Leader will organize teams, mentor staff, manage budgets, and maintain strong client relationships to strengthen performance and growth across the studio.

Qualifications

• Proficient with building codes and permitting requirements.
• Understanding of design trends, construction methods, materials applications.
• Knowledge of sustainability guidelines (LEED/Well/Energy Star) is preferred.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint and financial management concepts is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Lead by example and communicate effectively with team and clients.
• Develop solutions to technical problems and mentor teammates.
• Oversee QA/QC and ensure adherence to Nelson protocols.
• Manage project budgets and profitability.
• Foster a positive studio environment and promote inclusion.
• Provide performance feedback and support professional development.
• Maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
