Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Studio Leader in Atlanta to guide the Multifamily Practice, strengthen client relationships, and oversee design phases from concept through construction administration. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality, on-budget projects.

The role emphasizes leadership, project delivery, financial management, and team development within a collaborative studio environment. Strong communication and mentorship are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess code knowledge and ensure permitting requirements are incorporated into deliverables.
• Basic knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, materials application and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
• Basic knowledge of sustainability, LEED, Well, EnergyStar guidelines.
• Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Proficiency in understanding of financial management concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize tasks to complete within identified time frames.
• Manage expectations of project leads and teammates, casting a vision for studio success.
• Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
• Lead by example and foster a positive studio environment.
• Resolve conflicts and have difficult conversations with teammates, peers, upper management, and clients when needed.
• Provide opportunities for individual strengths to develop professionally and for team performance.
• Conduct annual employee performance evaluations and provide feedback; advise salary increases.
• Mentor teammates in communication, presentation skills, time management, and workload prioritization.
• Develop networks to support recruiting efforts and promote diversity and inclusion.
