LJA Land Development is seeking a Studio Lead – Architect to guide architectural execution across projects. You will lead design from concept through construction documents, coordinating with civil, landscape, and planning teams to deliver integrated, high‑quality spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience leading architectural project development from concept through construction documentation and administration.
• Strong project management skills to organize production across multiple projects.
• Ability to translate conceptual design ideas into buildable, code‑compliant solutions.
• Experience coordinating with civil engineering, landscape architecture, and planning teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to serve as the primary architectural contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Organized, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable contributing across design, documentation, coordination, and client engagement.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Translate conceptual vision into buildable, code‑compliant design solutions.
• Lead architectural development from concept to construction documents and administration.
• Collaborate with civil, landscape, and planning teams for integrated delivery.
• Coordinate multiple projects across varying scales (parks, plazas, etc.).
• Serve as primary architectural contact for clients and consultants.
• Manage budgets, schedules, production, and team coordination.
• Communicate proactively to support high‑quality outcomes and long‑term client relationships.
