Job summary

Tombras, a leading national advertising agency, seeks a Studio Design Intern to join Knoxville, TN. You will contribute to final artwork production, layouts, and cross-team collaboration for high-visibility clients.

The internship runs 8.5 weeks, pays $18/hour, from 9/23/26 to 11/20/26 with a max of 25 hours per week. Candidates should be design-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a senior in a bachelor’s program or recent graduate in Design/Graphic Arts or related field
• Experience with design production workflows and file preparation

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate final artwork, including vector art manipulation and layouts
• Coordinate end-to-end process to ensure files meet creative intent and vendor specs
• Work on high-visibility clients with project managers and creative directors
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of project requirements
• Ensure smooth movement of files through Studio Production respecting deadlines and quality
• Gather art elements from Art Director, retouchers, illustrators, writers, and printers
• Build digital art files from all elements and prepare/check files for submission
• Maintain communication with team throughout project and incorporate new elements
