Job summary

Prefix-Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator in the United States, Michigan (Rochester Hills) to organize parts in the build room and manage internal transport throughout the build process. You will communicate part status, needs and urgencies to departments and Program Managers, and coordinate studio setups and closures for each project.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills are essential to work with multiple department leads, customers and Program Managers.
• Organization skills are a must for coordinating parts, paperwork and schedules.
• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Organize parts in the build room and manage internal transportation of parts throughout the build process.
• Communicate part status, needs and urgencies to respective departments and Program Managers.
• Coordinate studio setup at the beginning of a project and studio closure at the end of a project.
• Document materials received from customer and materials sent to customer, via shippers and photo documentation.
• Track and coordinate scrapped/sold material with input from the Program Manager.
• Notify Operations Manager when studios are cleared and ready for a new project.
• Ensure program timelines are posted in the build room.
• Maintain Project Coordinator section of the project Bill of Material – tracking part location, coordinates outsourcing activities as necessary, procures any parts specified by Engineering/Design team.
• Assist Build Leads and Program Managers with procurement of project parts and hardware.
• Create shippers for Program Managers, as needed.
• Ensure part releases are accurate to customer-provided documentation prior to final part finishing.
• Act as internal backup to Program Managers while they are out on PTO.
• Highly motivated, able to work with little direction.
• Strong communication with multiple department leads, customer and Program Manager.
