Job summary

Shantell Martin, Inc. seeks a dedicated Studio Assistant to support the production of sculpture and artworks, rendering and modeling three‑dimensional forms in clay, plaster, and similar materials.

The assistant will work meticulously, both independently and as part of a team, under the artist’s direction. The position is full-time, with a 32-hour work week (Mon-Thu, 10 am-6 pm, paid lunch), on-site at the Santa Monica studio.

Qualifications

• Experience in sculpture or related artworks is preferred.
• Ability to render and model 3D forms in clay and plaster.
• Strong eye for detail and steady hand for precise work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production of sculpture and artworks under artist supervision.
• Render and model 3D forms in clay, plaster and similar materials.
• Collaborate with the studio team and work independently as needed.

The studio of an internationally exhibited artist is seeking a full-time Studio Assistant to support the production of sculpture and other artworks by rendering and modeling three-dimensional forms (such as objects or people) in clay, plaster, and similar materials. The assistant will work meticulously, both independently and as part of a team, under the artist’s direction.

Working Hours
