About the Role

Studio Assistant: Assisting with studio operations, youth programs, and general administrative tasks. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Part‑time to full‑time.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Teaching experience in ceramic wheel‑based techniques, hand‑building, sculpture, figurative techniques (plus).
• Knowledge in glazing and surface finishing/decorating techniques (plus).
• Assist in Open Studio, handling payments, and assisting studio members.
• Support Kid’s ceramics programs and manage youth projects.
• Help maintain a safe and clean studio environment.
• Manage clay reclamation and assist with administrative tasks.
• Field phones and walk‑in inquiries.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in ceramics or related field, or a 4‑year degree in the arts.
• Bilingual is a plus.
