JOB DESCRIPTION

The Lab Assistant's primary function is to fire kiln loads of pottery, mix glazes, and clean and organize the lab as needed. The Lab Assistant will be responsible for selling clay, mixing of glazes, and providing technical assist as needed during scheduled hours.

• Mixing of glazes, slips, and stains
• Reclaiming clay in a pug mill
• Clean and organize studio, kiln room, glaze lab
• Expected to work Fridays weekly

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
