Regent University seeks a Media Services student worker to assist teachers and students with A/V technology across campus. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot sound and video equipment for classes and events, perform daily checks, and submit maintenance tickets. This role supports on-campus classes and university events and requires reliability and teamwork.

Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs, attend weekly trainings, and work some nights and weekends. Pay is $13.75 per hour with no benefits.

Media Services student workers help set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot sound, video and classroom technology all across campus. Responsibilities also include the operation of equipment for live events as well as audio/video recording to be used for play back. The Media Services Department is committed to supporting Regent University’s academic technological needs.

Work Location: On-Campus Only

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers and students with A/V technology
• Daily checks of classroom equipment
• Maintain A/V equipment throughout the University
• Submit maintenance and production tickets
• Work at University classes and events
• Set up and operate a variety of audio and video equipment

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills

• Must have experience running audio equipment and cameras
• Must be dependable and hard-working
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
