Job Description: The Security Operations Center (SOC) is responsible for monitoring and protecting the university's network and systems from cyber threats. As a SOC student worker, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in incident response, threat hunting, and security operations. You will also be able to develop your skills in various cybersecurity technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents
• Assist in threat hunting and incident response efforts
• Help maintain and improve security operations processes
• Participate in training and awareness efforts for the university community

Minimum Qualifications

Salary and Hours

Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland.

Students will work a total of ten (10) hours per week.
