Job summary

Carroll Community College seeks a student employee to support cybersecurity labs on campus. The role includes assisting the Cybersecurity Program Coordinator, installing and maintaining computers, software, and networking equipment, and providing technical support for faculty.

This is a work-study position; candidates must be enrolled and eligible for federal work study. Hours are scheduled with the Cybersecurity department based on course schedules, with a start date after approvals.

Qualifications

• Completion of CYBR-108 and CYBR-121 for role eligibility.
• Preference for additional cybersecurity coursework.

Job description

Salary

The hourly rate of pay for this student employment position is $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Please note this is a work study position.

• Complete and submit all federal, state, and college employment forms. The I-9 is submitted to your supervisor and the other forms are submitted to [e-mail].
• Create a work schedule with your supervisor that does not conflict with your class schedule.
• When all forms are turned in you and your supervisor will be notified so a start date can be established.
