Job summary

Purdue For Life Foundation is seeking a Student Worker to support Engagement activities at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. The role involves event setup, inventory, and volunteer coordination, with a focus on alumni engagement and program support.

Must be a current Purdue University student and able to work up to 15 hours per week, including some evenings and weekend events. The position offers campus-based experience and exposure to scholarships and community programs.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Alumni Clubs email inbox, respond to routine inquiries, and route requests to appropriate team members.
  • Organize and distribute swag and event materials, maintain inventory records, monitor stock levels, and assist with semi-annual inventory audits.
  • Provide operational support for virtual and in-person events, including Zoom setup, attendance tracking, technical assistance, event registration, check-in, setup, and logistics.
  • Develop, distribute, track, and analyze Qualtrics surveys to collect stakeholder feedback and support program assessment.
  • Create and prepare event and marketing materials, including name badges, signage, digital flyers, graphics, and QR codes to support alumni engagement and outreach.
  • Create Wrike request forms, maintain team calendars and attendee reporting schedules, and assist with attendee report generation and distribution.
  • Maintain event tracking spreadsheets and other records to ensure accurate documentation of submitted, upcoming, and completed events.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for scholarship programs, including process coordination, recordkeeping, and data management.
  • Support Alumni Clubs initiatives and special projects by assisting with communications, event-related tasks, and other departmental needs as assigned.

  • Drive the golf cart and stay up to date on data compliance and golf cart safety.
  • Work occasional evening and weekend events to help with events.

  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions for events. Possible extreme heat and high noise levels.
