Department:Various College Departments

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Classification:$12/hr (PT)

Reports To: Department Supervisor

Job Summary: Provides support to the assigned department by assisting with daily operations, completing assigned tasks, and providing professional and courteous service to students, employees, visitors, and other members of the College community.

Education: Must be enrolled as a full-time student.

Must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Experience: Customer service experience preferred.

Basic computer skills.

Previous work experience is preferred but not required.

Core Duties and

Required Knowledge: Provides professional, courteous, and helpful service to students, employees, visitors, and other members of the College community.

Assists with daily tasks and operations within the assigned department.

Performs administrative, clerical, organizational, or other department-specific duties as assigned.

Uses computers, software, equipment, and other resources necessary to complete assigned responsibilities.

Maintains accurate records and handles information appropriately.

Assists with projects, activities, events, or another department needs as assigned.

Follows established procedures, instructions, and safety guidelines.

Maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment.

Protect confidential and sensitive information as appropriate to the position.

Strategic Vision and

Program Development: Contribute to the success of the assigned department by supporting daily operations, assisting with department initiatives and activities, and contributing to a positive experience for students and members of the College community.

Collaboration: Works cooperatively with department staff, faculty, students, and other members of the College community to complete assigned responsibilities and support effective department operations.

Physical Requirements: Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than that for sedentary work.
