University of Central Arkansas is seeking a Student Worker to perform general office duties on campus. The role supports departmental operations with front-desk duties, document handling, and occasional material delivery across the campus.
The position is Onsite and part-time, with a starting hourly rate of $11.00. The posting notes punctuality and coordination with the student’s academic schedule, plus occasional extended hours during spring for events like National History Day Arkansas.
More hours will be available in Spring 2027.
It is vital that a work study student be punctual and report for work at the time(s) and day(s) designated by the department in conjunction with the student’s academic schedule. If for any reason the student sees they are going to be late, it is required they call the department and/or supervisor as soon as possible. Frequent tardiness will be noted and could be used as grounds for dismissal.
During Spring semesters, there will be one Friday evening (not later than 7:00 pm) and one full Saturday (8:00 to 5:00, possibly later), when the student will be required to work. This is our annual National History Day Arkansas competition.
