Job summary

Weber State University is recruiting First Credential Navigators to support work-based learning in Ogden. Qualifications

• Must be an enrolled Weber State student taking at least 9 credits.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
• Meet AmeriCorps and Ogden School District background check standards
• Demonstrated reliability in a work or volunteer context

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize WBL events with industry and school personnel, using Google tools to organize events, coordinate with teachers and schools for student field trips, and help set up and tear down venues.
• Advertise and recruit for student internships and support interns with applications and schedules; use Google tools to track applications.
• Use the district SIS to identify students who qualify for internships.
• Attend WBL-related meetings and participate in WBL committees; follow through on meeting action items.
• Gather and report WBL data for meetings, presentations or grant reports.
