Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking a Counseling Center Specialist to support the Counseling Center, Panthers Pantry, PERC program, and Student Assistance Fund. You will respond to inquiries, maintain databases, and assist students with scheduling and required documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field; OR Associate’s degree with three years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts student intakes and triages students in crisis; schedules counseling, medical, and case management appointments.
• Manages referrals to community resources and campus services.
• Oversees Panther’s Pantry operations; maintains records and coordinates logistics for food distribution.
• Supports outreach events; develops and distributes marketing materials for internal and external audiences.
• Maintains departmental webpages, social media, and essential documents within the Counseling Center.
