The position requires a Master’s degree in social work or counseling and IL licensure (LCSW/LCPC/LPC), with at least 2 years’ experience in case management or counseling within an education setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or counseling is required.
• Licensed in Illinois: LCSW/LCPC/LPC.
• Minimum 2 years of student-focused case management, counseling, and crisis intervention experience.
• Knowledge of relevant sexual violence, domestic violence, mental health, and disability laws.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry caseloads of individual clients with counseling and crisis intervention.
• Develop and maintain treatment plans and assess progress.
• Coordinate care plans and create action plans for students.
• Document counseling sessions and outcomes per legal/ethical standards.
• Support CARE reports and campus pantry operations and service access.
• Build on-campus and community partnerships to support student success.
• Lead or participate in programming and psychoeducation on emotional wellness.
• Respond to crises on campus with immediate assessment and response.
• Prepare monthly/semester/annual reports on case management activities.
