Responsibilities

• Welcomes clients to the hospital and registers animals for care.
• Verifies client information and referring veterinarian when needed.
• Directs clients to appropriate areas within the clinic for care.
• Receives and screens telephone calls, including scheduling.
• Provides information about clinic procedures to callers and visitors.
• Communicates admissions, fees, discharge dates, and regulations to clients.
• Discharges clients in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Processes invoices and payments; prepares daily deposits for Bursar.
• Assists clinicians with patient examinations and data recording under supervision.
