Job summary

Payson Unified District Transportation in Payson, Arizona is seeking a part-time Bus Assistant at 28 hours per week to support the Bus Driver and ensure rider safety during transportation to and from school and during field trips.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, ability to obtain an IVP fingerprint clearance card within 45 days, CPR/AED/First Aid certifications, and 2 years of experience with students preferred. Reports to the Director of Transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card within 45 days of employment.
• Two years experience working with students preferred.
• Must possess or obtain CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist students on the bus enroute to and from school and during field trips.
• Assist with safe onboarding and offboarding of students at schools.
• Communicate with parents and students as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and FERPA.
