Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; and six months of experience assisting adults or children with special needs preferred.
• Must possess current Red Cross first aid certificate and CPR certificate at time of employment or obtain within first 10 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists students with getting on and off the school bus and operates the wheelchair lift.
• Monitors behavior, safety, and medical needs of students on the bus.
• Assists Bus Driver with various tasks and maintains bus cleanliness.
• Completes required paperwork including route changes, mileage reports, and student counts.
