Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications within 30 days of employment.
• Wheelchair and special needs handling training.
• Valid DPS Arizona FPCC fingerprint clearance card is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe loading and unloading of students and operate equipment for attending to students with special needs.
• Monitor student conduct and enforce appropriate disciplinary controls on the bus.
• Perform routine cleaning and bus maintenance; address spills and bodily fluids as needed.
• Respond to inquiries from parents with compassion and understanding.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
