Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking a Non-CDL Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school and activities in Rockford, IL. This safety-sensitive role requires a clean driving record, a valid IL license, and multiple driving years of experience with training provided for the required permit.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, maintaining student safety, managing behavior, and clear communication with schools and families. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• For Certified Non-CDL Van Drivers: IL driver's license, clean driving record, 3+ years of driving experience; IL First Division School Bus Driver Permit (Non‑CDL).
• For Non-Certified Non-CDL Van Drivers: IL driver's license, clean driving record, 3+ years of driving experience.
• Willing to obtain the First Division School Bus Driver Permit (Non-CDL) - state requirements, with training provided
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Physical ability to assist students and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Ensure student safety during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle
• Manage student behavior and maintain a positive environment in the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
