Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL with Alabama Bus Certificate and P/S endorsement required or obtained within six months of hire.
• Must have acceptable motor vehicle record and pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses on designated routes according to schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports.
• Maintain safety and discipline of students aboard the bus.
• Inspect and report mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance as required.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Adhere to all state laws, district policies, and bus safety procedures.
