Assisted Student Transportation in Wichita, KS is seeking a dependable Router/Dispatcher to schedule routes, monitor vehicles and communicate with drivers to ensure safe, timely pupil transport for the Wichita School District.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate data entry, and the ability to stay calm under pressure in a dynamic environment. In-person, full-time position with health/dental/vision coverage and a generous PTO package.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and monitor vehicles/passengers according to the schedule.
• Use dispatch software to manage route efficiency and timeliness.
• Ensure requests are completed promptly and changes processed.
• Assist drivers with directions and route changes as needed.
• Report routing conflicts and driver or student concerns.
• Communicate with drivers via two-way radio/tablet devices.
