Job summary

Amityfdn is seeking a Driver to transport students efficiently and safely, while performing regular vehicle cleaning and route planning based on road conditions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, CPI/ ESR certifications, a valid driver’s license, and TB testing. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and integrity while ensuring student health and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) & ESR (Emergency Service Response) certification.
• Current driver's license and safe driving history.
• Tuberculosis test from a health professional.

Responsibilities

• Drive students to appointments and activities in a safe, timely manner.
• Coordinate daily trips leaving the facility and ensure on-time pickups.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic upkeep coordination.
• Ensure passenger safety and use safety belts as required.
• Adhere to Arizona DOT Motor Vehicles Division safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle logs and coordinate with fleet staff as needed.
• Attend trainings and meetings; support community leadership roles if requested.
