Job summary

Clark State College in Beavercreek, OH, seeks a Testing Specialist to proctor academic, placement, and TEAS tests. You will support accommodations coordination with Accessibility and liaise with faculty, ensuring security and confidentiality in a trauma-informed environment.

This on-site role requires efficient test administration, calendar management, and reliable, detail-oriented service to students and staff, with occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

• Six months to two years of proctoring experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ATI Proctor Certification and Accuplacer Certificate of Test Administration preferred (can be obtained on the job).

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of academic and specialty tests to students, both virtually and in person.
• Proctor Accuplacer assessments, explain score reports, and assist students with enrollment steps.
• Manage testing appointments, Outlook calendar, testing email inbox, and phone communications.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and positive rapport with faculty, staff, and students.
• Ensure test security and confidentiality and uphold testing center integrity.
• Perform office tasks: organize, file, use printer/scanner, stock supplies, maintain testing area.
• Adapt to multiple software systems to improve efficiency and support operations.
• Be able to work irregular hours as needed.
