Job summary

Austin Community College is seeking an Assistant II for Student Technology Services in the Riverside Campus computer centers. The role supports students, staff and faculty with ACCMail, Blackboard, and other technologies in a high-demand lab environment.

The position involves equipment checkout (iPads, calculators, webcams, etc.), data entry, training support, and coordination with other departments. 19 hours weekly, $24.10/hour, on-site at Riverside Campus.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Associate degree or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students, faculty, and staff with technical issues in the Computer Center.
• Promptly answer technical questions and refer non-technical questions to the appropriate departments.
• Coordinate second level requests for access or resolution of inquiries.
• Adhere to FERPA and other privacy regulations.
• Provide feedback on frequent support requests for training opportunities.
• Communicate with internal departments to coordinate support.
• Check out technology to students and staff and manage resources.
• Enter data and maintain records in tracking systems.
• Serve as a technical resource for hardware and software when needed.
