Job summary

Casimir Pulaski Elementary School seeks an experienced School Adjustment Counselor to support students’ social-emotional and academic success. You will collaborate with families, teachers, and community resources to promote positive school adjustment and well-being.

The role requires a Master’s degree and state certification, with LMHC/LCSW/LISW licensure or eligibility preferred. Multilingual abilities are a plus; strong crisis intervention skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field with state certification preferred.
• Licensure as LMHC/LCSW/LISW or eligibility required.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address social-emotional and behavioral concerns affecting students.
• Coordinate with families and school staff to promote student well‑being.
• Develop RTI plans and participate in student support teams (SAT/FACTS).
• Provide individual and group counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain clinical records and report progress on IEP/504 plans.
