Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required or preferred.
• Certification as School Adjustment Counselor by MA is required/preferred.
• Licensure as LMHC/LCSW/LIS CW or eligibility is expected.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish/Portuguese) are preferred.
• 3+ years in special education/student services; 3–5 years in mental health/clinical social work.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess academic and behavioral concerns affecting student adjustment.
• Serve as liaison with families to promote collaboration in educational planning.
• Provide individual and group counseling (anxiety support, social skills, etc.).
• Develop and implement RTI and PBIS supports for students.
• Coordinate 504 monitoring and IEP-related activities as needed.
• Conduct crisis intervention and participate in the district Crisis Response Team.
• Collaborate with community resources to support students and families.
