Job summary

Oregon State University’s College of Business seeks four part-time Student Support Technology (SST) workers to assist in the computer lab, answer questions, maintain printers, and manage tickets in Service Now. The positions offer up to 24 hours per week with a pay rate of $16.80 per hour and start on 2026-10-05.

Ideal candidates are enrolled students with strong communication and a drive for customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
• Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
• High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
• Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
• Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
• Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
• Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*
• *International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered “full-time” by USCIS

Job Description

This recruitment will be used to fill four part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Support Technology (SST) position for the College of Business at Oregon State University (OSU).

Pay rate for this position is 16.80 per hour.

Position Duties

Working Conditions / Schedule

• Schedules are fixed by term, flexible with class schedules, and are 10-24 hours per week.
• Available to work Monday through Friday 7 AM - 10 PM, Saturday 8 AM - 6 PM, and Sunday 12 PM - 8 PM.
• Hours that are outside business hours may be expected depending on availability.

Salary Range

16.80 per hour.
