Job summary

Responsibilities cover supervision in classrooms, lunchrooms, and field trips, with emphasis on confidentiality, teamwork, and building strong relationships across diverse learners.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits and/or a two-year degree; include official transcripts with application.
• Paraeducator Assessments acceptable in lieu of college credits; passing scores in Minnesota.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with elementary age students preferred.
• Flexibility and ability to work as a cooperative team member.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support under certified staff and assist with IEP implementation.
• Support students with personal cares and behavior management as needed.
• Collect data and communicate progress to teachers and related staff.
• Monitor and supervise students in various school settings and meals/recess.
• Maintain confidentiality and build positive relationships with diverse students.
• Use devices (e.g., iPads) for communication and data recording.
