Responsibilities

• Assist administration and teachers with supervision of students.
• Maintain discipline on-site and during field trips; communicate with drivers and parents.
• Supervise students in playground, hallways, lunchroom and bus areas.
• Monitor behavior and apply appropriate consequences per plans and district policy.
• Provide information to parents and community members as needed.
• Assist in classroom supervision, setup/teardown of materials and field trips.
• Refer maintenance or safety issues to custodial staff; assist in fire drills.
• Perform light clerical tasks (phones, visitors, mail).
