Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools is hiring a Paraprofessional to assist general and special education teachers in classrooms and resource settings across multiple campuses. You will work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and support daily instructional activities.

You will help with data collection, behavior and social-emotional progress, and maintain accurate records while ensuring a safe learning environment. Local travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Paraprofessional Assessment may be required.
• Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Background checks require Level One IVP clearance before first day.

Responsibilities

• Assist general and special education teachers with instructional support.
• Support students in general education and pull-out rooms.
• Assist in data collection related to student performance.
• Assist the teacher in reinforcing material based on student needs.
• Distribute and collect work and materials for instruction.
• Supervise students during drills, meals, and field trips.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Prepare instructional materials and equipment for activities.
• Help organize learning environments and set up materials.
• Assist students with transportation to and from school.
