Job summary

Schoolforce Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students and educators throughout the school year. The role includes assisting with IEPs/BIPs, providing one-on-one and small-group support, and adapting materials to meet diverse needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Associate degree, 48 college credits, or completion of a district paraprofessional assessment may be required.
  • Paraprofessional certification or approval preferred, depending on state/district requirements.
  • Prior experience supporting students with disabilities in school, childcare, behavioral health, or similar settings is preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid, and CPI training preferred.
  • Must meet fingerprinting, background-check, and district clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist special education teachers with implementing IEPs and BIPs.
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with diverse needs.
  • Modify materials and activities to fit individual student needs.
  • Support communication, mobility, social-emotional development, and daily living skills.
  • Reinforce positive behavior and assist with classroom management.
  • Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, recess, and other areas.
  • Collect and document data on student progress, behavior, and IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and other staff to promote student success.
  • Maintain student confidentiality and professionalism with students, families, and staff.

Education

High school diploma or GED
Associate degree, 48 college credits, or paraprofessional assessment
