Job summary

Kettle Falls School District seeks an Educational Assistant to support middle school students in reading, language arts, math, and behavior. Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with middle school students preferred.
• Knowledge of special education disabilities preferred.
• Ability to keep accurate daily records and communicate clearly with teachers.
• Must be consistent, positive, and fair with students.

Responsibilities

• Educational assistant to work with students on Reading, Language Arts, Math, Behavior.
• Provide instruction to students who are academically at risk and/or high need.
• Provide personal care to students with disabilities.
• Instructional tutoring in one-on-one or small groups.
• Supervise students during free times including lunchroom or locker rooms.
• Support behavior management and model appropriate social skills.
