Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
  • Experience working with school-aged students in educational or youth development settings
  • Knowledge of student interventions, behavior supports, and classroom supports
  • Experience supporting Students with Disabilities (SWDs), English Language Learners (ELLs), or students needing academic/behavioral interventions
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student achievement
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead relationship-building, student support, and collaboration to foster positive school culture and equitable instruction.
  • Participate in SST and RTI processes and support IEP interventions with instructional staff.
  • Communicate progress and strategies with families and collaborate with administrators, teachers, counselors, and support staff.
